Rights Respecting Schools Award
At Gryffe High School we are embarking on the journey to become a Rights Respecting School. This involves putting the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child at the centre of everything we do in the school.
Last session we were awarded our Recognition of Commitment, and we are now well on our way to achieving our Level 1 status. This UNICEF endorsed Award makes sure that the Rights of young people are realised, not only in the teaching and understanding of the Convention of Rights, but also in the way every single person in the school acts towards one and other. You can see all the Rights young people have by clicking the button under the RRSA logo --> If you would like to find out more about RRSA, please see the UNICEF website. |
